Our team of experienced finish trim carpenters has a keen eye for detail. We work with residential and commercial builders to provide high-quality millwork installation and finish trim carpentry in Hudsonville.

What does it cost to finish a basement?

Each basement is different, and can differ in the following ways:

  1. Pre-exisiting egress windows or patio sliders
  2. Insulation
  3. Framed rooms
  4. Roughed in bathroom plumbing
  5. Exposed ductwork which will have to be boxed in
  6. Finishing touches such as bars, fireplaces, tile, custom built-ins, steam showers, and saunas.

The average basement that we finished last year was $40,000 to $75000.

The Basement Finish Process

  1. I visit your home and talk with you about your plan for the basement
  2. I am also a realtor and offer suggestions to maximize market value
  3. A floor plan is drawn of the basement and I will offer suggestions
  4. I provide an estimate of the basement project
  5. We discuss any modifications to the project
  6. If we agree to move forward, the project begins as soon as reasonably possible

We are often asked “Do you sub-contract the entire project to the least expensive contractors you can find?”  No, we do most of the work ourselves. We are there from the start of the project to the finish.
